Feature
Abandoned Checkouts screen
Orders
Shopify carts that customers leave without completing payment are tracked under Orders > Abandoned Checkouts. The cart link is copied from the list or the detail page and sent to the customer. When a cart later turns into an order, the row is marked Completed and linked to the related order.
- In the left menu under Orders > Abandoned Checkouts; anyone with order read permission can open it.
- The list has Cart, Customer, Item count, Amount, Abandoned, Status (Abandoned / Completed) and Order columns. Records start with the most recently abandoned cart.
- The cart number is copied with a single click; when the customer name matches a registered customer, it links to the customer detail.
- The eye button at the end of the row opens the detail. The three-dot menu offers "Copy cart link" and "View in Shopify"; the copy option is shown for abandoned carts.
- The Items card in the detail shows each row's image, name, variant and SKU, with unit price, quantity and row total on the right. When there is a matching product in the catalogue, the row links to the product search.
- The Cart Summary card right under the items has item total, discount, shipping and VAT lines. When VAT is included in the price, the label reads "VAT (Included)".
- The Shipping and Billing Address sit on separate cards; only filled fields are written.
- The recovery banner at the top of the page explains what the cart link is for, shows the link in a readable field and offers a copy button beside it. This banner is shown for abandoned carts.
- The email and SMS marketing consent the customer gave when the cart was created is also on the detail page.
- Data is refreshed from Shopify about every 15 minutes and covers the last 3 months of records. This is stated on the empty list screen and in the info tooltip of the Abandoned column header.
